जब We Met

This post is not a review of the movie Jab We Met but just an expression of the fun that I had while watching it. The movie released ages back (I think the week before Diwali) but I managed to catch it just yesterday on TV. The original CDs of the movie are out and my cable vala has been playing it on his channel religiously everyday.

So on the first night of this New Year I managed to catch around 60 minutes of the movie. What struck me most about this movie was the way in which the director has managed to capture the natural exuberance of the character "Geet" and the way in which Shahid Kapoor reacts to her outspokeness.

I think Shahid Kapoor's acting in the movie is just outstanding, his expressions are minimal but they convey his emotions brilliantly. I have a friend who is as outspoken as "Geet" and it is only after watching these movie that I have started appreciating her.

There is plenty that the movie has managed to teach me. I would never ever hesitate in doing crazy things in my life from now on, I would live with passion and try to be a person who never camouflages his emotions.
