Weekend Travails

This Sunday I woke up feeling all excited about Mock CAT 11. I had good last nights sleep (happens to me once in a blue moon) and was raring to go. Had a quick shower and breakfast and left my house earlier than usual. On the way got a PUCC and was pretty happy that I did not have to wait in a queue.
I reached Bharti Public School pretty early and there were very few souls like me who were at the venue. Since, I was feeling bored, I decided to call my friend, who also had an ISB interview call. His interview was scheduled 3 days before mine, so I was a bit inquisitive as to how his preration was chugging along. As soon as I hung up on him, I got a really disappointing news. The CL Mock CAT had been rescheduled. There was no test in the morning slot and the only available slot was 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
I felt so damn angry with the CL people for their lackadaisical attitude. These people have no proper practices in place and dont care for their students time.
Well, what to do now. I called my friend again and he suggested that I come to his place and we can fine tune our interview strategies together and also take mock interviews of each other. Luckily his house is closer the CL Mock CAT venue as compared to my house.
There we started with interviewing each other. He was able to answer my questions pretty well. Then came my turn to be interviewed. But he really blowed me apart. He thought my answers were not convincing, essays were trash, job change was not justified........

Felt pretty low after all that. I had a quick lunch at his place, along with some yummy sweets and proceeded to give my mock. The mock went just fine, not too good.
My score in English was three times my score in DI and English combined :(
Never mind, it keeps happening...hopefully on D-day I will do superbly......feeling pretty confident with CAT this time, but not so confident for my ISB interview.
